Please note, General Booking does not open until Monday, 15th March. The 2009 Festival received many, many compliments about the variety and quality of events in the programme, its gorgeous location in Cornwall, the superb community events and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout. It's no wonder that, last year, the Oldie magazine put the Du Maurier Festival as the 'second best Festival in Britain' - which of course, means that it's the Best Festival in England - with 'Hay' being over the Welsh border!
